Police at the Metropolitan Police Bureau led by Pol Lt-Gen Phakpong Pongphettra announced the arrest of six men and the seizure of a large quantity of Ya Ba (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine) plus other evidence.

Arrested were Khunawuth or Team, aged 20, Suthiporn or Boy, 26, Keb or Pae, 24, Chakrit or Yim, 22, Natthaphon or Bird, 30 and 33 year old Ekkaphan also known as Bank.

Taken into evidence were 11,110,000 Ya Ba, one .38 gun, nine .38 bullets, 60 9mm rounds, eight vehicles, six phones and a quantity of gold jewelry, reported Daily News yesterday.

They were arrested at an apartment parking lot in Pathum Thani north of the Thai capital Bangkok with three houses being searched in Lam Lukka and Nonthaburi.

The bust followed the arrest of two suspects on August 11th in the Klong Luang area of Pathum Thani when 2 million Ya Ba were seized.

The police garnered information about the activities of the "Tam Iaw" gang and were waiting in Klong 3, Pathum Thani, for the next delivery.
