I thought China itself said they would produce a mRNA vaccine similar to Pfizer and Moderna. What happened to that? Plus I would think that announcement flies in the face of what they are saying.

Why should they be annoyed after all China inflicted the virus the rest of the world should be very annoyed 

Every single dose of Sinovac was an example of the friendship, solidarity and help that the Chinese people have for Thailand. 

Well, I would not expect anything else as the whole story with the bat on that wet market in Wuhan triggered off the biggest post-WW2 crisis on planet Earth. So much to friendship, solidarity and help - we could have done much better with less "help" coming out of Wuhan some 22 months ago! 

Trilliions of dollars destroyed (shifted?) and China expects kissing we-all-know-what! Pathetic farçe!

Problem is that the Chinese supply more than 80% of the world's pharmaceutical raw materials at the moment; meaning that the raw materials to produce most western drugs come from them .

Fortunately they are benign in not halting exports of pharma raw materials in the name of ahem "national security interests" as Trump did in banning licensing n sales of electronic parts to Huawei ( the Chinese smartphone maker), otherwise the western world will quickly run out of medicine .

The other thing is that presently more than 90% of the world's electronics are designed or produced in Shenzhen ; so we'll have to live in the stone age without using electronic gadgets (smartphones, laptops etc)  or driving EVs if we were to stop using Chinese products .
n don't forget the fruit phone n Tesla parts r produced there too ...

No doubt there r lots of shoddy products as manufacturer's profit margins get squeezed by greedy wholesalers n consumers who were not willing to pay more (so something's got to give),

But there are  easily 10x more quality products than inferior ones .. (how often had the typical laptop or fruit phone break down  !!) ; otherwise the world as we know would not be able to run so smoothly as its so reliant on products made in the middle kingdom

Am waiting to get the new covid booster that Pfizer n Moderna have developed (n r seeking approval for ) in 8 months time  that will boost up the quantity of  anti-bodies by 3 - 9x

To be fair, something I am loathe to be, China did stop their citizens traveling here, when Prayut was more than happy to allow them to continue traveling to Thailand.

At present the Indian Bar association is  suing Geneva based Dr Soumya from the World Health Organization, (WHO) over comments made opposing the use of Ivermectin to treat covid patients in India.

Ivermectin is a very cheap drug and people can be treated for under $5.00, there have been many studies and trials done, India has been using this drug during the massive outbreak along with many other countries.

And another interesting person has said in front of the New York Post, and it is posted on You Tube--

It would appear that AZ is best at preventing deaths.  The sinovac jab was not used.  It does however look at Sinopharm, which is by no means 'useless'.

it's really get to my nerved when you talk about quality of a vaccine, all vaccine work as intended effectiveness more or less its still work preventing you some serious condition, at this moment in time with the shortage of vaccine take what you can, its still better then none, sinovax or not its still give you 60% protection, eventually everybody will need to re-take the vaccine after a year, the effectiveness will drop to none, take what ever you can and protect and isolated yourself because this virus is not going away anytime soon

And yet they’re still highly effective, and definitely more so than the Sinovac

You could dissect this several ways.  In terms of 'quality'...humm...if it doesn't have impurities in the vaccine then the quality is Ok.  It just doesn't work as well as others so more correctly the efficacy is low(er) than others and as a result the 'others' are more desirable.   We'll never know the real mortality rate of any of them so we can't judge ChinoVAC that way but if I'm getting 2 jabs of anything, I want the one that works the best...

One jab of Sinovac is no where close to 60% . Its in the single digits especially against Delta. 2 shots of pfizer= 42% efficacy fades after 6 months, that was on RT a few days ago and RNZ news today.

So all you vaccine experts are rubbishing Sino vac and the Astra combo, as I posted before

Astra has been found to give 90% efficacy at one half strength dose.
