Hi All,

I'm confused - (Not unusual in Thailand I admit).

Having finished a previous contract and having had a nice extended holiday, I have been offered

another job commencing at the end of June. (Not teaching).

So, go to Penang with paperwork from said company to obtain a non imm B : Penang say "No"

and that I must produce either a WP or a WP3 and print off a list of the requirements for non imm B, all of which I had except for WP3.

They then kindly issued a tourist visa and told me to make the WP application then return with the WP3 and then could issue a non imm B.

However I note on the WP2, WP application form it says applications will only be accepted

if the applicant has a non imm visa.

This seems like a chicken and egg situation to me:

So, can the company make the application with a tourist visa, get the receipt for the application

and then I can apply for a non imm B, return and have the WP processed?.

This is why I gave it lots of time to prepare!.

Thanks in advance.
