To enter Thailand:  Do I need a  confirmed AQ  reservation before I can apply for an OA visa ?

Thai Embassy  has it both ways   depending on what  web page  you are looking at.
 

A AQ or ASQ reservation is not required to apply for a OA visa. It only needed for the Certificate of Entry (COE) application.

You do need a address in Thailand to do the OA visa application.
