Cambodia, U.S. laud bilateral military cooperation

Featured Replies

Cambodia and the United States of America have lauded their military cooperation and vowed to continue fostering their collaboration for their mutual interest. The appreciation was underlined yesterday by Lt. Gen. Hun Manet, Deputy Commander-In-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) and Commander of the Royal Cambodian Army, and W. Patrick Murphy, U.S. Ambassador to Cambodia, along with Col. Jacky Ly, the new Defence Attaché at the U.S. Embassy.

The Ambassador mentioned about the importance in maintaining the bilateral military cooperation and the successful cooperation in the health sector to promote Cambodia’s public health. Ambassador Murphy also spoke highly of the just policy of the Royal Government on COVID-19 vaccination which has so far reached more than 90 percent of the target population.

In reply Lt. Gen. Manet reaffirmed the Royal Cambodian Army’s stance to continue the good cooperation with the American counterpart and looked forward to working closely with the new defence attaché to further boost both countries’ military cooperation.
