Which Visa- Have Thai Kids But Not Married?

Featured Replies

I have been here in Thailand now for approx 7 years on non Imm B and work permit. But I have read somewhere about a family visa for Farang with Thai kids (have 2 kids and I am father on both certificates) but not officially married. Can anyone help, has anybody else gone down this road yet? I am still working here and will be for foreseeable future (unfortunately). Thanks in advance!

There is no such visa. You can obtain 90 day stay using non immigrant O visas to visit or you can extend your stay on a yearly basis if you are over age 50 and your child invites you to live with them.

I think its called a tourist visa.

:o You won't be able to qualify for a marriage visa unless you are married and have the marriage license to prove it. If you can keep the non Imm B and work permit going. It's valuable. Unless you can get your ex-partner/childrens mother to marry you, but that raises it's own brand of trouble.

:D
