webfact
Picture: Sanook A dramatic video from CCTV showed the moment that a a five meter tall geyser erupted following a burst water main outside a noodle shop on Mitraphap (friendship) Highway in Sung Noen district of Nakhon Ratchasima in Thailand's north eastern region. Shop owner Wirapong Patpraphai told Sanook that as he was preparing to open at 6.30 am he heard a loud noise then the water started gushing and flowing into his restaurant. He was forced to flee until the flood subsided but reported that apart from having to clear up a lot of mud there was no damage to his place. The local authority said that this was part of a 60 km pipe that carries water from Lamtakhong reservoir to a Korat water processing plant. The one meter pipe was old and would be quickly replaced. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-09-23 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates
