Naew Na reported that motorists inbound to Bangkok were affected in the early hours of yesterday morning after a truck collided with a large sign.

The sign indicated the Kanchanaphisek Road (West) turnoff at KM marker 54 on Pahonyothin Road in the Wang Noi area.

The authorities managed to get the traffic flowing again by 8.30 am after working through the early morning hours.

No, it looks like the truck collided with the support on the left of the photo.

Report in Thai seems to say "truck lost control".

Guess truck hit the pole on the left?

(didn't see post above before writing)

If there's a roadside pole of any kind, sooner or later a Thai will hit it. Guaranteed.

Maybe the sign was proudly extolling the PM's stellar job in combatting covid and his awesome steering of the vaccine rollout!
