Popular Post wordchild
The news report that i read suggested that they would start "selling tickets" to certain destinations from Oct 1st; travel dates not confirmed as yet. I doubt many people will be rushing to book tickets with them given; 1) would you really want to fly on a plane that has sat on the tarmac for 18 months, piloted by a crew that have, until recently, been buzzing around Bangkok in their Grab jackets? 2) And also considering how badly they have treated (former) customers who had flights booked and paid for that were cancelled due to Covid. They have given only very limited customer refunds to date, one of the worst of the world airlines in that respect. simple1
From Thai Airways Australian website: Flights to Bangkok have resumed and can be booked via our website or through travel agents. Note that border restrictions apply for Australian residents departing Australia and quarantine requirements apply in Thailand. Please call 02 9844 0900 for more information. https://www.thaiairways.com/en_AU/index.page
ezzra
Don't book or buy any ticket to Oz until you'll be 100% sure what is going on once you land in Australia, 100% sure, not 99%, as they move the goal posts there twice a day..
talahtnut
Just now, ezzra said: Don't book or buy any ticket to Oz until you'll be 100% sure what is going on once you land in Australia, 100% sure, not 99%, as they move the goal posts there twice a day.. That goes for tickets from UK to Thailand too, theres always a risk of another scaremongering, Besides, Thai rotten Airways still owes me.
