MANILA, Philippines β€” The Philippines will begin its limited resumption of in-person classes on November 15, a senior education official said Wednesday.Β 

Β 

President Rodrigo Duterte had approved the pilot run on 120 schools more than a year since classes were forced to be carried out remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic.Β 

Β 

In a Senate education committee hearing, Undersecretary Nepomuceno Malaluan said the date coincides with the start of the second quarter of the ongoing academic year.Β
