Visa Information Please!

Featured Replies

Hi There!

I wonder if you could help.

I've been thinking of moving to thailand for a short while, but have no idea where to start with visa information, what I need in order to get a job permit. Is it fairly easy?

I'm 23 , Romanian nationality and have been living in englad for the past 2 years...

I would really appreciate the help guys~!

Thanks!

Millie :o

You have to find a job that can supply a work permit and that is not easy as there are many Thai that can do most work. If you find employment you have to then obtain a non immigrant visa and then, most likely, have to leave/return every 90 days for an extended period getting a new visa entry and then extending the work permit.

For a "short while" do not believe you stand much chance of legal employment.

In order to employ a foreigner the company must show that there are no Thais who have the relevant knowledge and experience for the post.

At you age I seriously doubt that you have more knowledge and experience than the Thai graduates.

So I must agree with Lopburi, that your chances of finding employment are slim at the best.

I am not sure if there is any market for Romanian language teaching.......... :o
