Antigen Testing Kits (ATK)

As schools begin to open parents will be asked to administer weekly (or more frequently) Covid tests with ATK, and then email results to the school concerned..It would be helpful to know of recommendations for particular kits which are as child friendly as possible.I don't think saliva tests are allowed.

Our daughter's school is giving the option to use either the nasal swab kits or saliva kits. The nasal swab kits are being provided by the school. If we wish to use the saliva kits, we need to purchase them ourselves.

But in europe atk's are from 75 eurocents

I just paid 340 for two kits, 170 each. Said it was a special promotion. Yeah, the ol' special farang price. Whatever.

 

These are the nasal kits. Over 1000 students were lined up today at school for nasal tests also. Lots of hilarious disgusted face making and sneezing were made as the things were twisted up there over and over, so I heard. Hah. Thus, they told us farang teachers to avoid the festivities and just do the test ourselves at home.
