I've searched the forum but didn't find the answer to my question.

IM Pathum Thani called me two weeks after I submitted all the documents and asked again for updating the bank book and bring them a copy on the same day. No problem, they wanted to see, if the 400000 Baht are still in the account.

Yesterday I picked up the passport with the final stamp, that I can stay for one more year.

 

I know the rule that the money must be in the bank account 2 months before starting the process at the immigration. But when can I withdraw the money?

For marriage extension you can spend it once your under consideration period is over and you get final stamp.  Where should we meet for dinner ?

There is no written rule for it but some immigration office require the 400k baht be kept in the bank until you return to get your extension stamp and will want proof it is still in bank.

If not sure I suggest people ask about it when they apply for their extension.
