Popular Post webfact
The Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) decided today (Friday) to allow travellers to enter Thailand by sea and land, in addition to current access by air. The north-eastern province of Nong Khai, bordering the Lao PDR, will be the first overland entry point to reopen on December 24th, according to CCSA spokesman Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin. To enter Thailand via a seaport, travellers are required to be fully inoculated, have passed an RT-PCR test within the 72 hours prior to departure or since their last port of call, to have no infections among passengers and crew on the same vessel and have “Thailand Pass” registration before arrival. Travellers under the “Test and Go” program will be exempted from quarantine and from providing proof of hotel bookings. “Sandbox” program travellers will have to stay at a hotel in the “sandbox” area for five days and have proof of SHA+ booking payments. Popular Post ThLT
For people from Laos entering Thailand... but Laos seems to still not accept people from Thailand, without a 14-day quarantine yet (even if fully vaccinated). Visas on arrivals not offered as well. 2 2
jethro69
Well well, just wait another couple of months until they go back either into fully lockdown or fully opening. All this <deleted> in between, I'm not game.

Popular Post jacko45k
Well, as Thailand eases entry requirements, in Europe and USA, stock markets fall sharply and impose restrictions on travel from some countries, and it now has a name, that name being 'OMICRON'...... A variant of concern. Edited November 27, 2021 by jacko45k 2

"December 16 target date for four Thai-Cambodia border checkpoints to be reopened" In Cambodia, the four points are identified as Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet International, Malai and Boeung Trakoun, and for Battambang province, the Kilo 13 International border in Sampov Loun district. This however is dependent on the joint decision by the Cambodian Government and Thailand’s Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA). https://www.khmertimeskh.com/50978215/december-16-target-date-for-four-thai-cambodia-border-checkpoins-to-be-reopened/

Apparently not, only those listed in my post along the Western Cambodian border with Thailand, giving easier access to Bangkok, not only for travelers but increased trade (freight etc.) as well. Or is the insurance requirement 'signed off', like the money in the bank requirement is by agent help.... meaning you are committed to using an agent every year? If you can change from Non O-A to " O" and have really your own 800 K on Thai bank and doc. You do not need an agent and so not on that system "hooked " for following years to come....i guess ! Unless their should becoming a synchronization for example that insurrance demand for all ret.extensions .....let us cross our fingers for that ???? (And abot the applicants former "agents use" history ......i really dont know if wiped out ?? )
