Don Chance
Seems information is being hidden. Are most people vaccinated in town? Also i was suprise to see the cases are overall highest in the south of Thailand vs Bangkok and the north. I am think this does not effect tourist so much rather Thai families. Jeffr2
Information isn't hidden, but probably mostly in Thai. Not easy to find unless you can type/read Thai! I think Bangkok was a focus for the early round of jabs. It was the source for the most number of cases.
KhunLA
Anyone at PKK wanting vaccination has already done so. Case #s are irrelevant and probably inaccurate. Simply practice social distancing, and the usual personal hygiene. Edited December 5, 2021 by KhunLA

Here ais site i found, they call it 'viral pneumonia" LOL, https://ddc.moph.go.th/viralpneumonia/eng/index.php# Lacking specific data. Obviously people need to know the status of an outbreak in their area.
jackdd
In the tourist provinces, of which PKK is one, everybody who wants should be vaccinated already, or can get vaccinated now. So the only unvaccinated people are the ones who don't want to get vaccinated or are too lazy.

Cases seem low, so at this point it does not seem to be much of problem. Unless they are lying....

Testing is not proactive, unless there's a large cluster which forces them to do large scale local testing. Looking at today's numbers you can see searching found 155 cases, whilst 3,811 cases were walk-ins. The 1,157 test kit results aren't included in the total of 4,000. So I trust the trends but consider the numbers indicative only.
