webfact
By Namo Vananupong BANGKOK (NNT) - The prime minister has handed over tenancy rights to newly built homes for low-income earners in Lat Krabang district of Bangkok, with an aim of improving the living quality of vulnerable persons and low-income earners. Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha presided over a ceremony to hand over tenancy rights to low-income earners, at the Suk Pracha Romklao National Housing Authority residential development in Lat Krabang district of Bangkok. The prime minister said at the event that housing is a critical matter, but there is a social disparity in the aspect of housing. He explained that the government carried out the rental home project with the aim of benefiting all groups in society. He also asserted the government will take care of low-income earners and make use of public-private partnerships to improve their quality of life. Gen. Prayut noted that jobs and income are also critical matters, aside from housing, and these two matters are addressed under the 20-year national strategy. On this occasion, the prime minister handed over house keys to 10 families who will be renting the new homes at Ban Suk Pracha Romklao. The National Housing Authority’s (NHA) Suk Pracha housing projects are aimed at reducing disparity and providing up-to-standard housing and a suitable living environment for the vulnerable population and low-income earners. Undertaken in response to the vision of the prime minister and the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the housing projects will contain 100,000 homes by the time construction completes in 2025. Under current plans, 20,000 residential units will be built each year. The housing projects will also host job training and community product development. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-12-06 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates

The cost of this PR stunt was probably enough for a small house or a few years rent. Any disgruntled noodle sellers among the tenants ?
