A huge drive had been made over the closing days to meet the number. Dr Kiatphoom Wongjarit said that 93 million on Saturday and an anticipated 94 million Sunday was still a good effort. Pressed by the media if people would be forced to have vaccinations in Thailand Dr Kiatphoom stressed that was not the case. Having a vaccination remained a matter of volunteering. But he said that everyone should get a jab for the benefit of their own health and that of the entire community.
