Travel with kids under 6yold

Can anyone tell me if two kids under 6 yo need the pre-departure test or not?

They need it to be sure. Just read about a family denied boarding because a child not tested.

Travelling to / from where, which airline ???

 

Some basic information is needed before this question can be answered correctly.

Last year, 2020, my then  7 yr old needed the test and again this year, now 8 yr old, needed again.

 

Both for return trips to Canada. Both countries required. Japan Airlines via Tokyo between Bangkok and Vancouver.

"Travellers under 6 years of age, travelling with parents with a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before travelling, are not required to have a pre-arrival negative RT-PCR test result and can have a saliva test when entering the Kingdom"
