Is there a way to report a crime online?

I don't know of any on-line process available,  best just go to your local police station.

is the crime serious  ? ..... because if not they'll less likely follow up.

If there is it is probably not working, or no one reading the reports.

You can transfer money to the police with a QR code or just a mobile phone number but I think they still prefer paper.

Fascinatingly, there is actually an App. It is called 'Police i lert u' and it does have a way to report a crime. I have the App but never used.

 

It even has an emergency real-time facility to chat with officers, and a way to upload photos and documents. You press an emergency icon, the police are alerted, and your phone sends your GPS digits to the officers.

 

I've noticed I'm logged out, so I'd be in big trouble if there was an emergency.

This is Thailand - Lots of stations actually have a functioning Facebook page but you would have to search in Thai to find them.
