Popular Post webfact Posted December 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2021 Picture: Daily News Thai engineers constructing a pedestrian bridge outside Makro in Sattahip in eastern Thailand have built it around a power pole replete with wires and cables. Daily News went there and found locals and tourists scratching their heads in collective "Thailand Amazement". Obviously if left that way it would be highly dangerous. Picture: Daily News Though still under construction it was deliberate as there was a hole for the pole about three quarters of the way up. It would take a lot of money to put right. Nobody was around to explain why it was like this. The media suggested ironically that it could become a "sculpture landmark of Sattahip." Here at ASEAN NOW we prefer "Stairway to Heaven" as anyone using it in its current form could be well on the way to meeting their maker! Popular Post hotchilli Posted December 20, 2021 Popular Post Posted December 20, 2021 This is the result of an education system that indoctrinates you into not asking impertinent questions but just do as you're told. 4 1
rwill Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 It's not the first time they have done that. Plus some roads with poles in the middle of the lane. 1
