chasing some quality fillets to make my own fish and chips any leads please

not requiring any Mekong delta rubbish cheers

Last time was at my local Tops bought some

frozen New Zealand red cod, a quite chunky 

fillet well suited to a batter and deep fry.

 

If you search the frozen foods at Rimping they have some Alaskan cod and haddock

Which Rimping is that. My nearest is Kad Farang and I have, so far, been unable to find Haddock.

The Pollock ,also Alaskan  is better if you want it for fish & chips , the Haddock ,the slices are

a bit small.

How much is the Alaskan cod? Must be pretty expensive. How is the taste compared to local fish?

thanks for the reply's i ended up getting a couple of cod loins and some Pollock loins average about 200 bt and the Pollock a little  bit cheaper

no that definitively not for a kg far from it but looked the goods compared to the Mekong Delta
