77kaoded reported on ongoing efforts by park rangers in the Ang Runai protected animal area in Chachoengsao province to deal with elephants encroaching on agricultural land.

In several sub districts in the province as well as in neighboring Kabinburi district of Prachinburi the elephants have been trying to find things to eat.

These include cassava and sugar cane.

Rangers have been tracking the pachyderms for days in an effort to herd them back to the protected wildlife area.
