The prisoners managed to escape Saturday. Picture: Siam Rath Yesterday Region 7 chief Lt-Gen Thanayut Wuthijaratthamrong along with provincial governor Sathian Charoenrian were pictured interviewing some of the handcuffed escapees as heavily armed commandoes stood watch. An investigation is underway to ensure there is no repeat of the jailbreak.
