How to learn Thai - Any recommendations for schools or online computer learning programs

Featured Replies

Before anyone responds, no I am not looking for a Thai GF to learn to speak Thai.  I have one already and having her teach me Thai is probably second to me teaching her to drive a car in a way to break up the relationship.

I am looking for suggestions on a good way to learn to speak Thai.  Here again, before anyone suggests well just google it.  I already have and there are numerous choices but a person is blind to whether any of them are any good.

For those of you who have learned to speak Thai do you have any recommendations on where to go, or online programs that are good and you have personally used.

I tried different online courses and apps. In my view, ThaiPod101 offers the most variety in very good quality with videos, listening, speaking and writing. There is a trial too.

However, to learn reading Thai and learn pronounciation I recommend RapidLearnThai. Comes also with an quite long trial.
