Thailand’s political situation used to be straightforward in the recent past. The Democrats being up against the Shinawatra camp made elections easy to contest and predict. The former were guaranteed solid control of the South, whereas the latter would dominate the North and Northeast. Bangkok swung between them.

Vice Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s office Seksakol Atthawong claimed today (Tuesday) that he has collected up to a million signatures in support of his campaign to expel Amnesty International (AI) from Thailand, which he and his supporters accuse of being a threat to the country.

Cabinet approves ฿1.4bn to fund discounted necessities for 90 days

The cabinet has allocated 1.48 billion baht, from the Central Fund, to support the Commerce Ministry’s project to maintain retail necessities at low prices for 90 days amid the current surges in prices in goods especially food ingredients, according to Government spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana.

Health Ministry Plans to Lower COVID Alert to Level 3

Pollution Control Dept working to prevent landfill fires

Gov’t introduces financial security packages for freelancers
