Jeffr2
Not that I'm aware of. Had an emergency with a friend a few days ago. BPH was open, but his condition required a specialist in Bangkok. Bumrungrad was full as were several other hospitals in Bangkok. I think Samitivej in Sri Racha was also full. He had to wait in the emergency room at BPH for quite some time until a bed opened up at Bumrungrad. They transferred him at that point.
internationalism
register on the first symptoms and they will put you in hospitel (10 days from 30k). if worsening at anytime, you will get hospital. You get ambulance transport to the nearest available one. They are opening new wards with common rooms with 20-30 patients (closing down wards with geriatrics). Also they are releasing the other patients with other conditions, to make space for covid wave

They were tested positive by a local hospital.

All have their own places. With others in the household. I know of perhaps up to 20 who have the virus now. All except a few said it was mild. A few said it was like a really bad case of the flu. TBH, I was surprised they were told to quarantine at home. One guy was with his kids and the hospital did go to check on them. I think the worry is if you arrive here and test positive, you'll have to pay for the quarantine. It's a serious concern.
