Sell here, Thai gold is a different standard than back home.. likely the best price for it would be here.

They will rip you off in the UK......doubt they have even seen pure gold.

99% of the population think gold is the color of 9 carat gold.

Gold prices in west for 2nd hand jewellry is peanuts.

The buying price is 29650 selling price is 28531 right now.

I'd hold it for now what with the situation in Ukraine but sell here plus the THB is stronger at the mo so you'll also get more pounds

Buy here, cash it in here...

The most common standard in Thailand is 96.5%, whereas internationally it is 99.99%, so they would not be seing pure gold. A gold dealier in the UK should be able to test the purity, just as they do here when buying gold jewelry of 14k, 18k etc.

I would sell it here though as the commisison is probably less, and there might be paperwork to fill out in the UK where here it's just handing over the gold and counting the cash.

Don't sell it yet. Putin just mobilised his nuclear deterrant forces, so the market could go in to another round of panic buying tomorrow.

I have bought gold since December, sold all my stock, I expect to hit 2500
