In the last few days I've tried buying items on Lazada with the COD option. When I click 'Place Order' I get an error message 'Payment Unsuccessful' and Pay Again.

 

It's been a few items with different suppliers, anyone made a successful COD order in the last few days?

I ordered COD last night & it accepted the order....

Ordered a COD item 10 minutes ago (solar panel 3,400bht), no problems.

But I understand if you refuse delivery of a COD item without 'just cause' Lazada remove your ability to order COD for a while.

I am seller on lazada myself, what you sY is correct, they ban you the first time 14 day, second time 30, and third time ban will not be removed!

I just made a cod here in Issan. Nongbulamphu. Driver just delivered it. Dog clippers. 3rd one. Piece of junk but she who is not to be disobeyed wanted it. ????‍????

Try paying when ordering. Works for me... ????

That website is very unstable it must have been done by the same people that updated to 90 day reporting system

Not sure you have the same issue but sometimes when I order COD it says waiting for payment in the "to pay" status line and takes a little while for it to move to the "to ship" status.

I'm expecting a COD to arrive today.  Order 2 days ago.

LAZADA's English Websites have been a disaster ever since I started using LAZADA years ago. It got a bit better recently, however, what a lousy performance for a company owned by ALIBABA.

Had a Cod delivery on Friday as normal.

Made a COD order for Zippo fuel lighter, it completed then gave me the error the OP is reporting, however when I checked the order it was approved for COD, that was Thursday, and the order was delivered yesterday with no issues.  It might just be a glitch in the system, I almost always order COD.  Shoppe is the only place I pay up front and have never had an issue.

Nah no problem on laptop (not using apps)

 It's down to the vendor as to whether COD will be accepted, not Lazada.

 

Lazada themselves do try to promote 'pay on order' as apposed to COD as a Covid preventative measure and a sensible idea it is too.
