Mr Derek
Ukraine ought to hang its head in shame with this request. Does Ukraine not have an army? I have yet to see any footage of actual combat - strange given the alleged severity of this war. All we get to see are posed pictures of dudes in muddy fields throwing bottles. If they are not able to fight for themselves, I wonder why they provoked this conflict with their giant neighbour when they could have diplomatically yielded up the Russian-majority Donbass region and stopped trying to join a military alliance with the west... strange that... 1 2 2

So, you think that the Russians are being delayed, not by Ukrainian fighters, but because they're pausing to take selfies? Even the Russians admit that they have suffered casualties at the hands of the Ukrainians. But for you it isn't real unless you see it on TV? If anything speaks to the degeneration that the media have inflicted on public mentality, it statements like that which reveal a belief that nothing is real unless it's filmed. As for the nonsense about provoking Russia, Putin is on the record repeatedly as saying that Ukraine isn't a real country. And that the greatest tragedy of the 20th century was the breakup of the Soviet Union. You have a problem putting 2 and 2 together? Defamation is considered to be a far more serious crime by the Thai government than the invasion of a sovereign nation and the gleeful mass slaughter of innocent civilians by a bunch of sadistic Russians. I happen to believe that this war was avoidable by prudent behaviour by Ukraine. They just walked into it. They have a completely ineffectual army (apparently), a reliance on other nations to defend them (when we all know that defence alliances are a recipe for world war, a huge and no-nonsense neighbour like Russia, two Russian-majority contested regions within their arbitrary borders, a history of alternating existence-and-nonexistence... so the last thing they should do is be insulting and threatening towards Russia. They could have prevented this whole mess by swallowing their pride, letting go the two Russian-majority provinces (which would be the proper thing to do in any case), and by NOT threatening Russia by provocatively allying with the west. Now they are paying for their leader's egos. That's why have little sympathy. It was perfectly predictable that Russia would solve this situation by force. I predicted it - how come they couldn't?
Cambodger
The Russians have met some heavy resistance but they are winning and will be victorious. Lots gore porn and humiliation videos being released by the Ukrainians of dead or captured Russian soldiers which is illegal under the Geneva convention code. It paints a false narrative of what is really happening on the ground. The Russians have been very disciplined and are now supplying captured towns with food and supplies which the Ukrainian are excepting. Also foreign mercenaries will not be treated as POW's but as criminal terrorists by the Russians. Don't think many Thais would last long in the harsh cold damp terrain of the Ukraine. Polaky
I think if i was going to sign up I would request an ak47 or a grenade launcher, not a cocktail, but too old for that now, didn't the west supply enough weapons?.

When Vlad doesn't like any decision of the West, he expresses his opinion by sending Sumbarines with nukes. This is what happened a week ago or so. That`s why I am sure, there will be no weapons strong enough as to spoil Vlad`s breakfast. Edited March 7, 2022 by friendofthai
