Manila-bound flight from Naga experiences 'runway excursion' at NAIA — Cebu Pacific

Data from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) showed total passenger traffic in the country plummeted by 41 percent last year to 7.72 million.

MANILA, Philippines — A Cebu Pacific flight from Naga City en route to Metro Manila "had a runway excursion" Tuesday morning, the airline said in an advisory. 

According to Cebu Pacific, Flight DG 6112 arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at 11:45 a.m. that morning when the accident took place. The aircraft eventually had to be towed from the runway a little after 1 p.m.

"All 42 passengers and four crew safely deplaned with no reported injuries. All the affected passengers have been assisted accordingly and have left the airport," the airline company said in a tweet.
