Spoke with a lady yesterday.

She, her 2 kids and a friend drove down south.
They stayed 1 day in Prachuap Khiri Khan, 2 days in AoNang and 2 nights in Phuket.

They went to restaurants all around the place.
She and her friend went a bit partying in Phuket where all farangs hang out.

Now back home, her son has Covid since Monday.
Home quarantine.

Have they informed someone about where they have been? Probably not.

Does someone know that they have covid? Probably just a few people.

Are they in the daily figures of infections? Probably not.

Are they going to trace where my friend and family have been? Probably not.

It's ridiculous: 2 weeks ago, I went for 2 days to Pattaya. My daughter wanted to go to Terminal 21 to H&M but both floors were closed.
Deep cleaning as a customer was infected.

They could close down the whole country.
Most people will not even bother to tell anyone unless they get very sick.

same with some of my neighbors, they silently close down their little shop, saying nothing, reporting nothing, just spoke with a foreigner staying at nearby condo, he was just informed the manager and some staff tested positive, they went home without informing anybody and not reporting to anybody..... amazing Thailand "chacun pour soi"
