Buying Thai ETF's/Mutual funds on Thai elite visa

Hi All,

I realise that if i purchase the Thai elite visa im entitled to open a Thai bank account. But would the Thai elite visa enable me to open a brokerage account and buy ETF's and Mutual funds?

You're entitled to open a bank account even without an Elite Visa so having one makes no difference in that regard. 

 

All TE does is send someone with you to a branch they have a partnership/understanding with to hold your hand through the process. You still get the same foreigner account with the same restrictions as anyone else not holding an EV does.
