and have never seen temperatures this low in April?

Marvellous isn't it!

Unfortunately doubt it will last but yes very cold winds. Positively frosty on the motor bike

Weird here in Phichit too.

Hot as hell for a few days. Today overcast & nicely cool.  This time ten years ago. Would be raining cats & dogs.

What? About 10 years ago, this was the hottest and most dry period of the year. It still is. What we see and feel now is the reaction from a taifun.

I'll be interested to see what the afternoon max temperature will be today. One app on my phone says 27° C, another 23° C, while the TMD website predicts a pleasant 32° C. It's already 23.6° C in the shade outside, so my guess is we'll end up somewhere between 27° and 32° C. And then another chilly night to follow, I need to dig the winter duvet out again, lol.

'74 sounds like an anomaly.

The event spacing between '83 and '03 doesn't.

The increase in frequency and intensity since then isn't.

Yes, the weather changes everyday, like it always has.

Does it change, breaking 100 year old records, all around the world, with such regularity never seen before in the history of record keeping?
