Yesterday I tried to register for the online personal income tax filing (https://efiling.rd.go.th/rd-efiling-web/register), but somehow the system says their database doesn't match my birth date/name/etc.

I got my TIN about 1 or 2 month ago.

Any idea what could be going wrong ?

erm....why not enquire at the tax office where you are registered?

Online tax filing in Thailand.......sounds like the stuff of nightmares.
