roojai is an agent what insurance company were you with

Roojai is the agent of Krungthai Panich Insurance.

My understanding is that with the exception of using LMG for big bikes, KPI is the only insurer Roojai uses for motor. I believe KPI has an equity stake in Roojai.

Dear @watgate, thank you very much for your kind feedback. We shared it with our claim surveyor.

Dear @steve187, although that's true, we do manage the customer service during the accident, including claim support, and garage/hospital network relations.

Dear @Etaoin Shrdlu, we operate with a model called managing general agent, meaning that we are a broker that manages the entire journey, including product design, purchase, customer service and claims. We have one exclusive partner for each product. That includes, KPI for car, motorbike and cancer insurance; AXA for personal accident insurance; MuangThai for extended warranty insurance; and FWD for inbound travel insurance. And more products to come.

Regards,

The Roojai team

Why does your online car insurance quote for a june 2021 honda city RS only 495,000 when the car is worth 580,000?  Is there a way to increase the insurance cover on your online system?

Dear Scotsman,

We use Red Book for car valuations, which the most widely used car database in Asia. You can change the sum insured by requesting a call with one of our agents. There might some premium adjustments to your policy.

In our experience, less than 1% of all the car claims result in a total loss (full sum insured) of the vehicle. A much more important element to look at is actually the third-party liability, which covers for damages or injuries to third-party. These can result in very high costs at times.

Best regards,

The Roojai team

I am interested in knowing more about your roadside assistance. How do you handle that? What is the typical waiting time for assistance? I tried calling customer but they were not able to provide answers, thus far. thanks, Mike.

I had an accident in the Prachuap Khiri Khan area and was shaken up. It was somewhat traumatic and we had to go to the Police station. All sorts of things were swarming around my head during this whole episode. In the meantime my wife called our Insurance company, namely Roojai Insurance, to report the accident. Within an hour a very competent insurance rep arrived at the Police station and took control of the situation. He spoke to us and then  the Police and took pictures of our vehicle. He filled out reports and set up an appointment for us to bring our vehicle the following day to get it repaired. We met him the following morning, dropped off our vehicle, and he took us back to our house. I am extremely impressed and thankful for the service we have received from Roojai Insurance and I highly recommend them based on the service we have received during this whole episode.

If you are not young anymore I can't recommend Roojai.

I had my insurance with Roojai for my Fortuner several years and when I was 74 and should renew I got renew announcement, since I had for automatic payment via my card i didn't think more about it. Just before renewal date I could see in my bank that I had not paid Roojai and I had a lot of problems with Roojai before it turned out that Roojai would not renew my insurance because I would become 75 in the policy period. What a very lousy service.
