Lava Stone Pavers

Featured Replies

Is there anywhere in Thailand that someone might know who sells this type of product

they are Lava Stone Pavers, also known as  Basalt Pavers,,,,  irregular sizes , about 30 mm thick

it seems you can get them in any other country but here, im hoping someone has seen them, perhaps used them or knows who might have them

i need approx 40 square metres of them

Thanks...

Haven't seen like that but years ago we got something maybe similar in the form of a hand chiseled (sort of) brick but only 2-3 cm thick.  We found those at a roadside nursery.

Looks like the stuff they make kitchen bench tops from. Check out a kitchen supplier.

Thanks Greasy, its not the same stuff

its actually volcanic rock that has been cut, into various thicknesses

it is pitted all over with air bubbles so would be useless as a benchtop

There is very little volcanic rock like that anywhere in Thailand, perhaps you could cut your own from AAC blocks and stain and seal them to get a similar finish?
