The minister's key words were medical, economy and benefits for the Thais when it comes to the plant now hailed as a savior. He also managed to mention tourism - medical tourism, that is. The event at Pichai Ratanakhan school in Muang district aims to increase awareness, explain the legal position and advise on production techniques for growing plants suitable for medical grade marijuana.
