Many consumer products in Thailand about to increase in price

Consumers in Thailand will be feeling the pinch of rising prices of a wide range of products, from instant coffee, cooking oil and instant noodles to condensed milk, shampoo and soap among others, as a result of the fallout from oil price increases.

Naval officer suspended for allegedly forcing conscripts to drink diluted semen

The Royal Thai Navy (RTN) has ordered an investigation into the conduct of a drill sergeant, who has been accused on social media of allegedly forcing new conscripts to drink water mixed with his own semen.

Travel Subsidy Schemes to be Extended until December

Thailand to Implement 300-Baht Fee for Foreign Arrivals

BANGKOK (NNT) - Thailand will begin charging international arrivals a 300-baht tourism fee in the third quarter of this year. The fee will be used to provide benefits such as insurance and emergency assistance to foreign travelers.
