Employers group against minimum wage hike, petitions the government

The Employers’ Confederation of Thailand said on Friday that the government should find other ways to help low-income workers with rising living costs instead of abruptly hiking the minimum wage as requested by workers’ associations.

Phuket – What Phuket police call a major drug suspect has been arrested in Phuket with more than five kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 70 pills of Ecstasy, and more than 40,000 methamphetamine pills, a gun, and bullets on Thursday afternoon.

Brake failure! Five vehicle pile up on Bang Na - Trat but at least one woman was wearing a seatbelt

A six wheel truck driver said that he experienced break failure that caused a five vehicle pile-up around 1 pm on the center section of the Bang Na - Trat highway by a U-turn.
