Here is a list. 3 April: Costa Rica, President (2nd round) Hungary, Parliament and Referendum. Serbia, President and Parliament. 9 April: The Gambia, Parliament. 10 April: France, President (1st round) Mexico, Referendum. ... 19 April: East Timor, President (2nd round) 24 April: France, President (2nd round) Slovenia, Parliament. Of course, have the Presidential elections in the Philippines plus another Moving forward to May and we have another six elections. Here is the list of up coming elections: o 8 May: South Ossetia, President (2nd round) o 9 May: Philippines, President, House of Representatives and Senate. · 15 May: Lebanon, Parliament · 15 May : Switzerland, Referendums[ · 21 May: Australia, House of Representatives and Senate · 29 May: Colombia, President Here in the Philippines, the battle is heating up with TV debates where there will be some serious sparring and not just be Senator Manny Pacquiao. With the internet, twitter, Facebook and of course You Tube candidates have a lot more options than going out on the road. That said massive crowds have witnessed candidates with their celebrity friend there to whip up the fever. It is almost comical when one candidate’s PR machine was posting that 400,000 had attended a rally when the police were stating more like 80,000. The PR reacted by stating that the crowd stretched up to five kms in a 31-metre-wide avenue so that was how they worked out the attendance. Really!!!! Maybe they are forgetting the reason why Filipinos will be voting…to choose a new President. Could it be a man or a woman? We will know soon.
