Food fair to promote Khmer cuisine in Sihanoukville

Preah Sihanouk Provincial Department of Tourism will hold a four-day Cambodian food fair and cooking competition for tourism students from May 13 to 16 at Techo’s field (Poy Tamong) Square in Sihanoukville.

 

According to the Department of Tourism of Sihanoukville, the event is aimed at promoting Khmer food to attract national and international tourists. The event will also showcase the potential of beaches and other tourist destinations in Sihanoukville.

 

Beside the exhibition, Preah Sihanouk Provincial Department of Tourism is also organising a food and beverage competition and a bicycle race. Taing Sochetkrishna, the director of the provincial tourism department, said that this event organised by the Ministry of Tourism is aimed at promoting and helping the coastal province to attracted local and international tourists,
