With the national lottery being drawn today it gave the media ample chance to connect the dots. Rescue divers were called to the Sawee River in Chumphon under a bridge. There they found a Nissan Tida submerged the wrong way up in the waters. The previous night a man called Phairot, 43, who had been enjoying beverages at a wedding had missed a turning and gone under the bridge to do a U-turn. Being unfamiliar with the road he trusted his GPS with dire consequences. Picture: Daily News He managed to get a window half open and scramble out helped by locals on the scene. The number of the car for today's draw - 954. So, here it appears that having an accident brings good luck. After that we have yet again a driver that looks at the GPS instead of the road.
