APSARA National Authority restoring elephant terrace’s platform

The APSARA National Authority, in collaboration with the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation, is in the process of restoring the platform of the Elephant Terrace.

 

This restoration work is a part of a joint project between the APSARA National Authority and the Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation that was carried out at two different locations, the northern part is 23 meters long and the southern part is 8 meters long, it pointed out.

 

In the process of restoring, the technicians focus on the implementation of several essential tasks, such as strengthening the foundations, consolidating the relevant structures inside and below as well as reassembling the walls of the original structure, the source added.
