Are you required to use the eVisa system if your citizenship allows you to?

Featured Replies

Last time I got  visa for Thailand I don't think the eVisa system was up and running in the UK.

Recently there have been reports of applications being rejected.

Do I still have the option of applying in a neighbouring country, or do I have to use the eVisa system now (or does it depend on the neighbouring country)?

What type of visa and which country.

Recent reports of non O and tourist visa from places such as Phnom Penh and Savannakhet..

Great little Thai consulate in Saigon.

Please report back entry requirements.

Perhaps you qualify for visa exempt entry.

Being Oz, I need visa and wanting to go to Saigon but the requirements for entry not clear.

'From 15 March 2022 Vietnam has reintroduced visa waivers for the nationals of 13 countries including the UK. Visa waivers allow for visits to Vietnam for up to 15 days without needing to apply for a visa.'
