Speeding on s straight road perhaps ?

So bad driving is not just endemic to Thais?

I presume there are 2 unscratched helmets sitting pretty in another location.

Thats no footpath either... !!..

Main issues here...

- Hardly a scratch on the bike - No helmets (a guess, but seemingly obvious).

- That treelined central median is death trap (poor road design a factor again).

Deaths and serious injury very likely avoidable even after an inevitable incident with simple helmet wearing and safer road design (proper barrier instead of trees or in front of trees).

Straight road broad daylight, i'll wait for CCTV footage before blaming the victims though.

And no rain either. I'd venture that a giant monitor lizard was to blame as it decided to cross the road. No one's used that excuse yet.

Surprised it hasn’t taken off like ‘brake-failure’... ‘Laap-nai’.... or ‘following GPS’...

There's a foot path on the roadway?

Whereas there's a wide open adjacent walkway where you can see motorcyclists riding by in the background.

Something not right here. A friend was passing almost immediately after this happened and went to assist. Immediately seeing both were dead at the scene. His conclusion was a hit and run from a very powerful vehicle due to injuries sustained and the distance between bodies, bike and other body matter. Horrible incident. running in to the kerb doesn't sound right.

Hate to say it but maybe due to being Cambodians its an open and shut case. Poor buggers RIP.

Strange choice of words.

For reference. They may have been confused as Cambodians drive on the right whereas Thais drive on the left!
