Chonburi – A 43-year-old driver has sustained injuries after a piece of flying iron scrap hit his head, smashing his windshield, while he was driving his pickup truck in the Mueang Chonburi district.

Thailand’s face mask requirement in public may be eased in mid-June

The Ministry of Public Health will consider relaxing the mandatory wearing of face masks in public in some areas, tentatively by the middle of next month, as Thailand moves towards reclassifying COVID-19 as an endemic disease, according to Public Health Permanent Secretary Dr. Kiattibhoom Vongrachit.

Delivery service riders seek help from Thai government over high fuel prices

Delivery service bike riders are complaining about the rising price of gasohol and benzene and are calling for help from the government, as did users of diesel, the price of which is being capped at 32 baht/litre through subsidies.

Cryptocurrency tax exempt for trades on approved exchanges until end of 2023

Investors who trade cryptocurrencies or digital tokens through properly registered exchanges will be entitled to a 7% VAT exemption on the transfer of the digital assets, retroactively from April 1st 2022 until December 31st 2023, according a Royal Decree published in the Royal Gazette on yesterday (Tuesday).
