snoop1130 Posted May 26, 2022 Share Posted May 26, 2022 Image: Google BANGKOK (NNT) - Thai agricultural technologies and innovations are being showcased at the 3rd AGRITECHNICA ASIA & HORTI ASIA at the Thailand Smart Farming Pavilion. The event is being held from May 25th to May 27th at BITEC convention and exhibition hall in Bang Na District of Bangkok. It is organized in conjunction with Horti Asia, the region’s largest trade exhibition for smart horticulture in Asia, and the special exhibition Systems & Components Asia. Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Chalermchai Sri-on reiterated that his ministry is determined to promote smart farming, with an aim of improving the quality of life of farmers via the use of technology, in line with the government’s Agriculture 4.0 policy. The minister added that his agency is expediting a human resource program for smart farming-related research and development while pushing state officials to train local farmers to implement new approaches in their operations. Innovations being presented at the event include smart planting factory technology, and drones for agriculture, to name a few.
