carlyai
The little male tit in my skimmer box flap, that engages the female hole in the skimmer box, is broken off. Resulting in my flap not flapping. Anyone know where I can buy another flap please?
Encid
Our skimmer box does not have a flap at all. The pool was built 15 years ago and we never had a flapper. What is it's purpose? I do note on Thailand Pool's web page that most of their skimmer boxes have flaps. Perhaps you could give them a call?

They flap back & forth to create a vacuum effect on the surface water. Although they still work without, they make the whole process more efficient! Take the old one to a pool shop to get a replacement one. Depending on where you are it most likely not an issue to replace!

We have lots of flying ants at the moment and when the pump stops the ants that are in the skimmer without the weir tend to float into the pool.
