Football - Defending champions France have one point from two Nations League games after being held to a 1-1 draw by Croatia in Split. Denmark beat Austria 2-1 and there were also wins for Latvia and Kazakhstan.

 

Golf - Six-time major champion Phil Mickelson will play at this week's opening event of the LIV Golf Invitational Series after a four-month break from the game. He completes a 48-strong field in the $25m  Greg Norman led event at Centurion Club in St Albans UK. The 51-year-old had sought a release from the PGA Tour to play in the event. However the PGA Tour has said players taking part in the event could face sanctions.

 

Basketball - An exclusive LeBron James trading card is expected to sell for more than $6m at an auction this week.

 

The one-of-a-kind card featuring the 18-time 37 year old NBA All-Star, includes patches taken from jerseys James has worn in his career.The card was found after a year-long hunt among collectors during a live social media event. It came after Canadian rapper Drake bought 10 cases of the basketball cards to try to locate it
