The government says it will most likely lift compulsory wearing of face masks in some public places and allow night entertainment venues to operate until 2am, as Covid slowly becomes recognised as endemic.

Further meetings this week with the CCSA Center for Covid-19 will analyze the falling rate of infections and declining death rate. 


66 Myanmar nationals were arrested yesterday In Kanchanaburi, 8 of them were in a car that came off the road after it passed a police checkpoint prompting a chase, the Thai driver was apprehended and 8 Burmese were taken in for questioning, each had paid around 28 thousand baht to work agents.

 

The government raised the price cap for diesel to 34 baht per liter  from today. This comes just one week after the price rose from 32 to 33 baht per liter. 

 

Locally: AirAsia has confirmed it will fly 3 times a week from Hua Hin to  Chiang Mai from the 1st of July.
